Frontend Engineer

About this role

You will work on the OptiKratos web front-end — a suite of 7 Next.js 15 apps sharing a design system built on Tailwind CSS 4, shadcn/ui, and Radix UI. Your mandate: ship the unified marketing shell, product dashboards, and public-facing pages that revenue teams interact with daily. You will collaborate directly with the Product Designer on Storybook components and with the backend team on API integration.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain features across the marketing site and app shell (Next.js 15 App Router).
• Implement responsive, accessible UI components using Tailwind CSS 4, shadcn/ui, and Radix UI.
• Manage client-side state with Zustand and server-state with TanStack Query.
• Contribute to the shared Storybook component library — writing stories, tests, and documentation.
• Optimise Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID) and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance.
• Work with SEO/GEO requirements: JSON-LD structured data, metadata, sitemap generation.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of frontend engineering with React and Next.js.
• Strong command of TypeScript and modern CSS (Tailwind strongly preferred).
• Experience with Zustand, TanStack Query, or equivalent state management.
• Understanding of accessibility (ARIA, keyboard navigation, screen readers).
• Familiarity with testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress).

Nice to have

Not required — but they will make us notice your application.

• Experience with Storybook and design-system token systems.
• Background in SEO/GEO technical implementation (JSON-LD, metadata APIs).
• Familiarity with shadcn/ui and Radix UI primitives.
